However, I have a good feeling that it still lingers about in generic features. I haven’t really checked in with Colorblind’s usage recently. Colorblind started off as a good song that became extremely annoying and obnoxious after it started getting overused to death. However, as you’ll see with many of these songs, using these songs over and over again greatly taints their appeal. The song’s quality is just better overall, showing that effort was clearly put into it. This song is a lot more fast paced, energetic, and “modern” than TBoT, so I can sort of see its appeal. However, levels that use it tend to have more obnoxious gameplay than those that used TBoT, such as mini portal and speed portal abuse. It’s another song that’s used for generic levels. If you don’t, you haven’t been in the community for long enough.Ĭolorblind appeared in what I recall was around the middle of 2.0. However, you should definitely be familiar with these last seven. You might not have remembered the first song I mentioned being so overused. It might’ve even died off before the end of 1.9. I mentioned this song first because, although it did get overused, it pretty much died off right as 2.0 came around. Pretty much the entire song is the same leitmotif, only remixed in style every so often. In all honesty, after you hear it so many times, TBoT starts to get quite old. These levels usually never passed seven stars in difficulty. You could likely encounter it in pretty much any of the equivalent of a generic level in 1.9. The song from this Nate and Waterflame surge that I feel like was overused the most however was The Beginning Of Time. This was what caused a surge in usage of songs like Glorious Morning, Race Around The World, Space Pirates, Final Battle, and etc. However, many people opted to use songs from artists that worked on official level songs: namely Waterflame and dj-Nate. With the arrival of 1.9, there was of course the rush to use tons of new custom music.
